Enerpoly has been selected for Cohort #6 of the RESPOND Accelerator by the BMW Foundation, advancing sustainable innovation and responsible leadership in the energy transition.
Enerpoly is honored to announce its selection for Cohort #6 of the RESPOND Accelerator, an esteemed initiative by the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt. This program unites 15 pioneering startups from eight countries, all dedicated to driving sustainable solutions in energy transition and industrial decarbonization.
As one of the few companies chosen for this competitive program, Enerpoly is poised to leverage the next six months for deep collaboration, expert mentorship, and strategic partnerships. This opportunity aligns seamlessly with our mission to industrialize zinc-ion battery technology, providing safe, sustainable, and cost-effective energy storage solutions essential for a resilient energy infrastructure.
“We deeply value RESPOND Accelerator's emphasis on responsible leadership,” said Eloisa de Castro, CEO of Enerpoly. “The program selects companies with a high motivation to lead responsibly and provides invaluable support in helping them evolve by tapping into a global network of expertise. In addition to helping companies assess and measure impact, RESPOND further encourages them to explore various ways to amplify that impact, enabling program participants to maximize our contribution to a sustainable future.”
Our journey towards industrialization is well underway. In September 2024, Enerpoly inaugurated the Enerpoly Production Innovation Center (EPIC) in Rosersberg, northern Stockholm—the world's first zinc-ion battery megafactory. Spanning 6,500 square meters, EPIC is designed to achieve a final capacity throughput of 100 MWh annually by 2026, setting a new benchmark for affordable and scalable energy storage solutions.
Our participation in the RESPOND Accelerator provides access to a global network of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, further strengthening our position in the energy storage sector. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and remain committed to our vision of a sustainable and resilient energy future.
